Alamo Transformer Supply Co. seeks a Plant Manager, Distribution Transformer Division for its San Antonio, TX location. Specifically, the duties include:

• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities in an electrical transformer repair and rewinding plant, including logistics, workflow, inventory and staff.
• Standardize and restructure operations, control costs, drive high output, productivity and profitability, and enforce safety and quality.
• Propose and manage the plant’s operating budget.
• Develop and coordinate operating policies and procedures, production goals, process improvements and quality control initiatives in coordination with management and relevant departments.
• Direct, review and approve transformer design changes, specifications and procedures in coordination with management and relevant departments.

Req. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field. 3 yrs. exp. Manufacturing, Industrial or Electrical Engineer or equivalent position to include:

• 3 yrs. experience working with utility or industrial electrical transformers;
• 2 yrs. exp. implementing quality control and testing;
• 1 yr. exp. managing a production line.
